Internal Technical Sales Consultant Due to the growth our Client is experiencing we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Internal Technical Sales Consultant. This is a permanent, full time position, based at the Luton office. You will work with an extensive, global customer base that requires dedicated and attentive support and servicing. Your role will be to provide technical sales support and growth as directed by the company management. Product training and support will be provided Duties:
  • Develop existing contacts in line with company targets
  • Customer sales and support, response and contact as required
  • Preparing and sending of quotations
  • Liaison with suppliers for technical and commercial information
  • To attend exhibitions
  • Follow up quotations and exhibition enquiries
  • Ensure customer files are accurately kept up to date.
  • Help and assist Manager with project work as and when requiredPerson Specification

Qualifications and Experience:

Key Responsibilities for the Purchase Ledger Role:
  • Responsible for the preparation of invoices for payment in accordance with company's designated procedures and controls
  • Responsible for managing key supplier accounts including accounts which incur late payment charges 
  • Post invoices and credit notes into our purchase ledger system ensuring adherence to procedures.
  • Ensuring payments are made in a timely manner and in accordance with agreed supplier payment terms.
  • Refer all invoices that are unable to be processed to MD. Monitor progress until resolved
  •  Resolve all supplier and PO originator queries on a timely basis
  • Liaise with Supplier, PO originator, Procurement and Finance as required to provide an efficient and effective service and to resolve outstanding queries
  • Continually review ways of working and support processes enhancements. Maintain and input into the process documentation for the purchase ledger function
